Dear XebiaLabs community,
Making it easy for users to find the information they need, and get in touch with the right people if they can't, is something we're always trying to improve. One of the things we've noticed recently in this regard is that the standard "pair" of forums - a User forum and a Feature Request forum - creates an artificial distinction that doesn't offer much benefit: users are forced to decide between either asking a question, or immediately suggesting a solution, rather than simply describing a challenge and then working together with us to find the best solution.
We've therefore decided to try to simplify the situation by allowing users of our products to register challenges on our existing support site. We can then discuss the underlying requirements and suggest alternative approaches. And if the products do not currently address the challenge adequately, product management will see how this fits into our future plans.
Our support site now provides a new ticket type called "change" that allows you to register such challenges with us. At the same time, we have merged our product forums so that there is a single place for you to contact us. Existing feature requests on the forum will be migrated to a "change" ticket so that our conversation can take place there.
We look forward to many productive discussions!
The XebiaLabs team
