App upgrade and auto mapping of new CI coming from the new package

Hello,

I have remarked that when I perform an upgrade on an deployed application if the new version contains new CI declaration they are not automatically mapped to target deployable element ?

If I use the Web UI and I click on "auto map" arrow then the new CI are mapped to the right target deployable element...

Is it normal ?

I use DeployIT version 3.7.4

Thanks in advance

Dom

Hi Dominique,

That is intentional. Just like on an initial deployment, you'll have to press the "map all deployeds" arrow to map the deployables to the corresponding containers, i.e. the ones with the right type and the right tags.

Hi Dominique,

When I'm logged in, I see a text saying "Answer" along with a checkmark to the right of every reply to your post. I've just selected my reply to be "the answer". Do you not see the same checkbox?

Regards, Vincent.

Hi Dom

By the way, the recent versions of the Jenkins plugins support "auto-scaling" via a deployment option:
